The short version: you upload a notice, an AI reads it and writes your response, and you pay to copy it. We use your information to do that and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we are

WriteMyReply is run by SHORE AI LLC, based in Malibu, California ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@shore-ai.com.

What you give us, and what happens to it

• Your notice, as a PDF or photos. Your browser opens the file. For a PDF, it sends the text of the document to an AI service so the AI can read it, or the page images if the PDF is a scan. Photos are shrunk first and then sent. We do not keep your files.
• The facts and your own words. What you type into the form, and the words you write in step 3, are sent to the AI service so it can write your response. Until then they stay in your browser.
• Your written response. Until you pay, your response is held on our server for up to 24 hours. Once you pay and unlock it, we hold a copy for 30 days behind a private link. The link is only for your convenience, so you can open and copy your letter again. We do not keep your letter: it is permanently deleted 30 days after you unlock it, and the link stops working. If Stripe gave us your email address at checkout, we email you the link.
• Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a simple order record (the plan you bought, your checkout email address, how many letters are left, and an order number) for up to 90 days so a case package works as promised.
• Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and basic request details. We use your IP address to limit abuse, such as too many requests in an hour. We do not log the contents of your notices or letters.

Who else handles it

• An AI service provider reads your photos and writes your response. We send only what is needed for that.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Our hosting provider runs the site.
• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces on the page, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They receive the page address without any query string, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Plausible uses no cookies; Google Analytics may set cookies. Advertising features and ad personalization are turned off. Your uploads, letters and order details are never sent to either tool.

Sensitive information

The letters and emails you upload can contain sensitive information, such as health, financial or housing details. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. This site never asks for your Social Security number or full account numbers, and the AI is told to leave them out of the letters it writes. Feel free to cover them before you upload. WriteMyReply is not a health care provider, a lender, a collection agency or a law firm.

Your choices

Because we keep so little, there is not much to ask for. You can email us to ask what we hold about an order, or to have it deleted, and we will respond promptly. If you live in California or another state with privacy rights, you may have additional rights, and we will honor valid requests.

Security

We use encrypted connections and keep access to the site and its data limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we hold to a minimum.

Children

WriteMyReply is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use what you give us, we will say so on the site.
